Payment facility for buyers

As a buyer, you acknowledge that initiating a transaction establishes a legally binding and enforceable contract with the seller. You are obliged to use the payment facility to pay the transaction price to the seller through your issuing bank.

You, as a buyer, may agree with the seller on extensions or increases in the dispatch and/or delivery time through electronic communication and records, utilizing the automated features provided by the payment facility. Any changes to the transaction must comply with the rules and policies of the payment facility.

In case of delivery or non-delivery, you are required to promptly notify the payment facility using the appropriate features on the website, within the specified time period as outlined in the policies. Failure to notify within the specified time period will be considered as deemed delivery for that transaction. For Cash on Delivery transactions, confirming the receipt of products or services is not necessary.

If you do not receive the delivery within the agreed time period or the time period specified in the policies, whichever is earlier, you have the right to claim a refund of the transaction price as your sole and exclusive remedy. However, failing to raise a refund claim within the stipulated time will make you ineligible for a refund.

Refunds will be processed in Indian Rupees only and will be equivalent to the transaction price received in Indian Rupees. In the case of electronic payments, refunds will be made through the payment facility using NEFT/RTGS or any other approved online banking/electronic funds transfer system authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Refunds are conditional and subject to the recourse available to iRefurb in case of buyer misuse.
Refund shall be subject to the buyer complying with Policies.

iRefurb reserves the right to impose limits on the number of transactions or transaction prices which iRefurb may receive from on an individual valid credit/debit/ cash card / valid bank account/ and such other infrastructure or any other financial instrument directly or indirectly through payment aggregator or through any such facility authorized by the RBI to provide enabling support facility for collection and remittance of payment or by an individual buyer during any time period and reserves the right to refuse to process transactions exceeding such limit.
iRefurb reserves the right to refuse to process transactions by buyers with a prior history of questionable charges including without limitation breach of any agreements by buyer with iRefurb or breach/violation of any law or any charges imposed by issuing bank or breach of any policy.
iRefurb may do such checks as it deems fit before approving the receipt of the buyer's commitment to pay (for Cash on Delivery transactions) transaction price from the buyer for security or other reasons at the discretion of iRefurb. As a result of such check, if iRefurb is not satisfied with the creditability of the buyer or genuineness of the transaction or other reasons at its sole discretion, iRefurb shall have the right to reject the receipt of / buyer's commitment to pay the transaction price. For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby clarified that the ‘Cash on Delivery’ feature for payment, may be disabled for certain account Users, at the sole discretion of iRefurb.
iRefurb may delay notifying the payment confirmation i.e. informing the seller to dispatch, if iRefurb deems it suspicious or for buyers conducting high transaction volumes to ensure the safety of the transaction and transaction price. In addition, iRefurb may hold the transaction price and iRefurb may not inform the seller to dispatch or remit the transaction price to law enforcement officials (instead of refunding the same to the buyer) at the request of law enforcement officials or at the event the buyer is engaged in any form of illegal activity.
The buyer and seller acknowledge that iRefurb will not be liable for any damages, interests or claims, etc. resulting from not processing a transaction/transaction price or any delay in processing a transaction/transaction price that is beyond the control of iRefurb.

Compliance

Lack of authorization for any transaction(s).
Exceeding the pre-set limit mutually agreed upon by you and the respective bank(s).
